Core Responsibilities:

Lead Micro Electronics Technician

 

Skills/knowledge:

  • Experience with different kinds of small part packages and micro-controllers packages such as QFN, BGA, LGA, QFP, as well as parts down to an 0201 level

  • PCB rework involving SMT and hot-air soldering for part level or chip-level replacement as well as BGA replacement/re-balling

  • Trainer level certification for IPC J-STD-001FS

  • Skills, experience, and certification in Polymerics and Cable, Crimp, and Harness highly desirable

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent

Attributes:

  • Hardworking and eager to learn, having a strong sense of responsibility

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions

  • Knowledge of basic computer skills

  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects

  • Ability to work with general instruction on daily activities

  • Skills, experience, and certification in Precision Soldering and Cable, Crimp, and Harness highly desirable

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent

Spaceflight harness production and test for power, data, and RF

Test Engineer and Utility Infielder

-This position is for full-time, with 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift operations on a rotating basis.

Test Engineer with broad skillset, flexibility, and test engineering focus sought:

  • Dedicated to test engineering discipline

  • Ability to write clear and accurate test procedures

  • Ability to execute tests of complex units under test hardware, using complex test equipment including:

    • Thermal vacuum and thermal cycling tests​

    • Vibration Tests

    • Shock Tests

    • Camera Calibration

    • Electrical Functionality and Performance Tests

    • Radio Frequency Functionality and Performance Testing

  • Ability to design tests and develop special test equipment when necessary

  • Software skills such as C++ and Python are a plus

  • FPGA skills especially with ProAsic A3PE3000 or the M1A3PE3000 are a plus

  • CAD skills especially with SolidWorks are a plus

  • Electronics board design and electrical engineering skills are a plus

  • Hands on skills (polymerics, solder, machine shop, CNC, etc.) are a plus
